Description: Rope is a fantastic medium to explore concepts such as shame, exposure and humiliation. In this class we will go over the more subtle aspects and techniques one can employ to bring your partner into this vulnerable headspace.
Requirements: We will not be teaching fundamentals during this class. If you wish to employ the rope techniques used you’ll need to have a basic understanding of rope fundamentals. However this is not a technical class and it will contain theory and information that can be applied to all skill levels.
Experience level: Any level
What you will need: This class is lecture and demo based, however, if you plan to practice and ask for feedback later we recommend 2-3 hanks of rope for groundwork
You no longer need to RSVP through Eventbrite for this event.
Attendance is limited to space, but we will function on a first come first serve basis.
If you don’t want to miss the class, ARRIVE EARLY.
Join us before class for tea time! We will be meeting at 7:30 at the Shed to have tea and social time. We will have some teas and one electric kettle but anyone is welcomed (and encouraged) to bring teas, teapots, teacups (especially cups!) or anything else.
About Rope Bite:
Open to everyone interested in rope bondage, Rope Bite is a munch, class, open discussion and play session all rolled into one welcoming and open environment. It is our hope that rope tops, bottoms, and switches of all skill levels come together as a community and have the opportunity to share and develop their skills. Come when you can to what you can. It's going to kick ass!
The Orlando Rope Bite meets the first Friday of every month and is open to both members and non-members of The Woodshed!
What is a rope jam?
It's time to practice what you learned in class or to just practice. A lot of rope-y folks hang out and skill share and there are DMs to offer advice.
What does this cost?
Rope bite is all by donation and all donations go directly to The Woodshed. They let us use this space and their AC for no cost at all. If you are able to donate, we ask that you please do. It tells the Shed that you appreciate this space and class and that you want it to keep going.
